Deal... or no deal?

Here's hoping, anyway.

Our agent is scarcely gone for half an hour and I'm already nervous about the news he's going to bring back. Are we going to get the apartment?

We've put in an offer on a modest one-bedroom condo near Cambie Street with a decent view of downtown and the mountains on the north shore. It's in a good neighborhood on a block where I won't be worried about walking around late at night.

By 10 pm tonight, I should know where we're at.

Maybe we'll finally get a piece of the pie.
