Snow, shmo! The election is on!
The national election is only a few days old, but one particular charge by the Liberals is already past its expiry date.Paul Martin: “I really do believe that during the holidays when Canadians sit down to sip hot
chocolate, the last thing they’re going to want to do is see a politician on the TV screen or at the door. People want to enjoy their holidays… they have a right to.”
Translation: “Elections at this time are not good for democracy. The people do not want an election. The enemies of the state do not want you to sip your hot chocolate or open your Christmas presents. The cockroaches want to take over this country, but they will freeze in the winter snow for a thousand years. All hail the Liberal Party, the great protector of the people.”
